Silc One

Silic One: Perfect Protection for Your Boat with Silicone Coating

Durability and Warranty

Silic One is an advanced silicone-based product designed to protect your boat against the elements for an extended period. Although our supplier Hempel provides a standard 2-year warranty, in practice, Silic One has a lifespan of up to 5 to 7 years. This means less maintenance and more time on the water for you.

Flexible Options and Quotes

To save costs, you can choose which steps to undertake yourself. We will provide a tailored quote based on the information you provide. Contact us for more information and discover how we can perfectly protect your boat with Silic One.

Easy Maintenance

For subsequent treatments, only Silic One needs to be reapplied, making maintenance significantly simpler.

If your boat remains idle for a long time, algae growth can occur. We can easily remove these algae with our drone cleaning service, which works quickly and effectively.

Note: Specific Boat Yards Required

However, there is a small issue: Silic One makes the surface of your boat so smooth that not all boat yards are willing to lift the boat, as it can slip out of the straps. This is not a problem for catamarans due to their square shape. For monohulls, you will need to find a yard that can lift boats treated with this product because it creates such a slick and protective layer.

Applying Silic One: Two Methods

Silic One can be applied in two ways, depending on the condition of your boat and your preference:

     4. Tiecoat: Silic One Tiecoat is then applied.

     5. Silic One: Finally, Silic One is applied twice for optimal protection.

Light Sanding Over Old Anti-Fouling: This method involves light sanding to smooth out the old anti-fouling paint.

     2. Light Sanding: Uneven areas are smoothed out with light sanding.
